When Do You Need WRISC?

WRISC, Inc. can determine what your options are, and whether a wrap-up will work in your particular situation. Often a feasibility study is required to determine if a wrap-up is the best risk management technique for your project.

Just as the construction manager provides expert management and oversight of construction contractors, WRISC can provide expert management and oversight of brokers, carriers and the complete wrap-up program.

Often, the wrap-up owner does not have an administrator with the time or experience to effectively interface with the broker, claims adjusters, safety staff and insurance carriers. There may not be an in-house Risk Manager, or the in-house Risk Manager may not have specific expertise with a wrap-up, or he/she may be removed from day-to-day operations of construction projects.

Agents or brokers are in the business of selling insurance. They sometimes offer more services than they deliver. Often, their local staff is not experienced in wrap-ups.

WRISC will monitor broker and carrier activity to ensure the owner’s best interests are served. Our experienced staff will evaluate the broker’s services and advise the owner on effective courses of action. We will provide an independent, objective perspective throughout the entire process.
