Don Waddell, Director of Consulting Services
Don has extensive experience in the insurance industry. He began his career in 1967 as a Commercial Accounts Executive, focusing on special risks, public entities, associations, and contractor insurance programs. He gained experience in risk management and claim consulting, coordinating his first OCIP insurance program in 1978. Don initiated legislative reform for OCIP enabling legislation in the State of Oregon, and designed, implemented, and administered the first wrap-up program in Oregon for the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission in Lane County. He has become a nationally recognized expert in the design, implementation, and management of public entity wrap-ups. Don has provided a full range of services on projects totaling $7 billion of total construction costs. Click here to review these projects and services. Don has instructed members of the Data Processing Managers Association and Independent Insurance Agents Association. He has conducted seminars for the League of Oregon Cities, the Association of Oregon Counties, and the Special Districts Associations. He has also served as Chair of the Insurance Committee for the Construction Management Association of America. |
