Jim Zourek, J.D., Safety Coordinator Jim has a strong background in occupational safety and health on a variety of construction projects, beginning with his position as Assistant to the Director of the Illinois Department of Transportation. He has served as a Construction Manager, Safety/Security Engineer, and Consultant. Throughout his career, Jim has been responsible for designing, implementing, coordinating, and enforcing safety, security, and accident prevention programs. He understands the need for a strong field presence. Jim has been the Safety Consultant, Manager, or Advisor for 25 years on many projects, including: Benicia, California San Francisco, California Martinez, California Honolulu, Hawaii Lemont, Illinois Jim completed the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Traineeship at the University of Illinois, and attended the OSHA Training Institute in Rosemont, Illinois. He was an instructor in Safety Synergistics and Construction Demolition for the National Safety Council. |
